Ingeborg Miriam Aagesen is a photographer from Oslo, Norway. She grew up on the eastside of Oslo and her upbringing in a multicultural environment has influenced her work a lot. Her work focuses around identity and diversity in the society. She has worked with a few documentary series regarding those subjects and through her work she takes a stand in political, social and emotional questions.

Her passion for photography started as a child, being exposed to and learning analog photography and developing film from her grandfather. She is heavy influenced by this and even though she works with both digital and analog, the lather is preferred.

She won newcomer of the year at the prestigious “Årets Bilde” 2023 and her work has been shown in exhibitions across Norway. She graduated from Bilder Nordic School of Photography in June 2023 and is currently getting her degree in photojournalism.
